The Red Bluff Community Band
The Band is a wind and percussion ensemble comprised of over 40 members ranging from teens to senior citizens and from amateur to professional musicians, who enjoy practicing together and performing for audiences in Red Bluff, Tehama County and the surrounding area. We welcome your musical talents.
Each year we play for a number of community functions including the Memorial Day concert at Oak Hill Cemetery, our Summer Concert Series which is held in The Red Bluff City River Park, Red Bluff, CA , the Kelly Griggs Ice Cream Social, the Tehama Jubilee and the Kiwanis’ Christmas Festival.
The Community Band has also played for the North Valley Services Cool Club Christmas Party which is held at the Senior/Community Center in Red Bluff. In addition, our band had the pleasure of' performing for Tehama County's Sesquicentennial celebration.
The Red Bluff Community Band performs for approximately 20 community events each year in Red Bluff including Fourth of July, Memorial Day and Veteran's Day, local city picnics and fundraisers well as more formal concerts once or twice each year.
The Band rehearses each Monday evening, during the months of September through May, from 7 PM until 9 PM at the Senior - Center located at 1500 S. Jackson, Red Bluff, CA. Members should arrive to set up and warm up by 6:45 PM.
Each rehearsal is a lesson given by our Band Director that provides us all an opportunity to grow in musicianship, skill and just plain enjoyment of good music. Regular attendance at rehearsals is important.
