Greetings to wind and percussion instrumentalists

   Rehearsals provide an opportunity to meet with other musicians, of varying ages, in our community with similar interest and to broaden and expand our musical exposure. This leads to an enjoyable musical experience for all those involved, and will lengthen one’s musical resume.

   We meet at the Red Bluff Community/Senior center, which is located at 1500 S. Jackson Street,
Monday evenings from 7 PM till 9 PM, from September through the end of May.

   In the summertime, June through August, we perform concerts at the Red Bluff City River Park on Monday evenings from 8 PM till 9 PM with a short rehearsal following the concert. 

   We are all in music because we enjoy being involved with the many aspects and benefits that music yields to our lives. No matter what level or age we are, we all can still enjoy music to the fullest, as music is a personal thing, hence, each of us enjoy music in our own way.  

   The Red Bluff Community Band needs to have many seats filled and will appreciate any, and virtually all interested individuals, to come and give us a try.  

   When you decide to come to rehearsal, please call me so that I can learn who you are and by what method I may contact you.

Hello, my name is Jay Thiel, the director of
The Red Bluff  Community Band since 2005.

   The Red Bluff Community Band offers a way for an individual to learn to play an instrument better.  It’s an opportunity to meet with other musicians, of varying ages, in our community with similar interest and to broaden and expand our musical exposure. 

   To improve our ability to play well, we need to practice.  Practice, either by ourselves at home, or in a regularly scheduled rehearsal. 
The Red Bluff Community Band offers a way for an individual to learn to play an instrument better.

We encourage all musicians in the Red Bluff, Redding or Chico areas to join us in providing quality musical entertainment for Band music aficionados.  Come join in the fun!
